The Artisanal Wine Box brings together winegrowers from all over the world, producers with a focus on sustainability and the most sincere attention to the environment. Minimal intervention, i.e. the reduction of pesticides, herbicides and mechanical activities in the vineyard, is the method followed to achieve the highest natural balance of the soil: the less invasive one is in the fields, in the cellar and in preserving the wine itself, the more it will be possible to safeguard the intrinsic characteristics of the wine. One glass, one philosophy!

With the Artisanal Wine Box, the Callmewine team offers a rich and varied selection of artisanal wines from the most diverse territories and produced with different varieties. The world of artisanal wines is vast and is experiencing an ever-growing appreciation from consumers, who are increasingly oriented towards genuine wines produced with respect for the environment. In general, although there is no official definition in this regard, it can be stated that the category of artisanal wines includes those wines made according to sustainable agronomic practices, such as those provided by organic and biodynamic agriculture, while adopting a non-invasive enology where the execution of operations that mask or alter the truest expression of the grape variety and the territory is banned. That said, it can be stated that the “artisanal production method” is ancient, adopted since the time when there were no pesticides and enological additives.

The Artisanal Wine Box contains six different bottles of wines artisanal wines, both Italian and not, which can be still or sparkling, white or red, orange or rosé, dry or sweet. Among the most commonly used practices in the production of artisanal wines are: the exclusive use of copper and sulfur in plant protection, hand-picked harvests, spontaneous fermentations, the measured use of wood when employed, and the exclusion of additives and enological aids, except for low doses of sulfur when necessary, as well as artificial clarifications and heavy filtrations. All this is aimed at creating genuine wines that speak of terroir.
