Bastarda Fedellos do Couto 2023

The "Bastarda" by Fedellos do Couto is the most iconic red wine of this artisanal reality in Spanish Galicia. Made in the wild territory of Ribeira Sacra from relatively young vines, the grapes Trousseau are gently macerated for a period of two months, then fermented with indigenous yeasts and subsequently aged for 8 months in old French oak barrels. With a dry, fresh, and light character, it presents spicy aromas of black pepper, notes of red fruit, and mineral hints.
