The Chablis Premier Cru by Albert Bichot is a pure Chardonnay whose grapes come from various vocated areas, specifically premier cru, to fully express the style of the winery and the territory. A small part of the wine ages in barrique. On the nose, clear notes of citrus, both white and yellow fruit, and intriguing hints of chamomile emerge. The sip is fresh, with lively freshness balanced by roundness on the palate, a slight creaminess, all crowned by a long finish. It pairs naturally with oysters and is to be tried with typical ‘escargot à la Bourguignonne’
