The Falanghina “Janare Senete” comes from a single vineyard in the Sannio Beneventano, with vinification in steel and cryomaceration. It has a rich and intense aromatic profile, with notes of flowers, yellow fruit, and aromatic herbs in the foreground. The sip is soft, fresh, savory, and very long: balanced and persistent.

The Falanghina Senete belongs to the Janare Cru line of the La Guardiense winery, a cooperative that has become a major reference point for the production of wines from Sannio in recent years. It is indeed born from the best and most exposed vineyards of the area and expresses itself in a rich aromatic profile, intense and generous. Numerous awards and recognitions from both the public and Italian and international critics have contributed to the fame and success of this white wine, which has become an enological symbol of the Sannio Beneventano with an excellent quality/price ratio.

The vineyards from which the Senete Janare Falanghina originates are trained in guyot and rooted in clayey limestone soils at an altitude of 300/400 meters. The grapes are harvested in the second half of September, at full ripeness, and taken immediately to the winery, where they undergo a cold maceration that contributes to the intensity and richness of the aromatic spectrum. This is followed by soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 20 days at a controlled temperature of 13°C. A few months of aging in steel complete the production process, and the wine is bottled in March following the harvest.

The Janare Senete La Guardiense expresses with freshness and pleasant immediacy the rich, deep, and Mediterranean soul of Sannio. In appearance, it shines with a straw yellow color, emanating aromas of flowers and yellow fruit that enchant the nose. Pleasantly vegetal hints of hay, sage, and aromatic herbs complete the olfactory profile. The taste is fresh, mineral, and smooth, with a nice persistence of fresh almond. This refreshing and drinkable personality, combined with a good aromatic complexity, allows for multiple gastronomic pairings: delicate dishes based on fish, carpaccios of meat and fish, shellfish, seafood, pasta or rice with vegetables, mozzarella, and fresh cheeses.
