The “Alimata” of Villa Raiano is a Fiano di Avellino that comes from the vineyard that gives its name to the label, located in the province of Avellino, about 350 meters above sea level. The terroir is characterized by a clayey and marly subsoil, with a good presence of skeleton, and the Fiano vines grow with the espalier system with guyot pruning. The grapes are gently pressed whole, and the must obtained undergoes static decantation. Fermentation follows, which takes place in stainless steel containers.in stainless steel. The wine then remains to refine for 12 months in steel, and then matures further – after bottling – for 14 months directly in glass.
The Fiano di Avellino “Alimata” Villa Raiano presents itself visually with a bright straw yellow color, endowed with a particular brightness.
