The Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero "Annamaria Clementi" by Ca' del Bosco is the sparkling wine dedicated by Maurizio Zanella to his mother, as well as the founder of the winery that bears her name. The result of great care to obtain only the best from the grapes and from everything that happens in the winery, this reserve is exclusive, and in every respect, one of the sparkling symbols regarding the level of evolutionary capacities expressed over time. The Cuvée Annamaria Clementi has become one of the reference points of the entire Franciacorta landscape, a symbol of a winery and a wine pearl of the entire Italian sparkling heritage. An example of elegance and class signed by Ca’ del Bosco that has contributed through other great sparkling wines from the area to bring luster and prestige to this magnificent terroir and its enticing bubbles.
Annamaria Clementi Ca’ del Bosco is born from the blending of 3 different crus located on the gentle hills of Erbusco, of which 20 are planted with Chardonnay aged 35 years, 2 are planted with Pinot Bianco aged 24years and 6 are planted with Pinot Nero aged 38 years that yield top-quality fruits. The selected musts are from the first pressing and are vinified in small oak barrels, chosen with rigorous selection of the raw materials that compose them and with an aging of at least 3 years. The wine will rest for another 6 months sur lies and undergoes malolactic fermentation. A demanding selection allows for choosing the best among the 28 base wines that will make up the Annamaria Clementi; these will be blended to gravitate in a specific container. Then follows the refermentation in the bottle and the aging on the lees for as long as 101 months. The dégorgement takes place in the absence of oxygen through a method patented by the winery itself and a small amount of sulfur is added.
The Franciacorta Annamaria Clementi reveals a brilliant golden yellow, crowned by a very fine and incessant perlage. On the nose, it is mineral, almost smoky, with a continuous chase of fruity citrus notes, walnut, chamomile, honey, broom, and slightly fragrant hints.
