The Manzoni White 'Incroci' from Podere Ranieri is a white wine produced in Maremma by a producer who works in full respect of nature, the vine, and the grapes. A fresh, deep, and very balanced white wine, perfect for an outdoor dinner with friends!

Manzoni Bianco 'Incroci' Podere Ranieri is a sought-after Tuscan expression of the Incrocio Manzoni grape variety that stands out for its full, smooth body. Manzoni Bianco, or Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13, is a genetic hybrid created in the 1930s at the Scuola Enologica di Conegliano by Professor Luigi Manzoni. It is a cross between Riesling Renano and Pinot Bianco, although recent studies claim that Chardonnay was used instead of Pinot Bianco, as the two grapes were often confused at the time.

Podere Ranieri's 'Incroci' Manzoni Bianco is a pure Incrocio Manzoni from vines grown according to organic farming principles in Massa Marittima, at an altitude of about 60 meters. The vines benefit from silty-sandy soils on the surface and clay soils just below, rich in mineral elements. Once manual harvesting is complete, the grapes are softly pressed and the resulting must sent for alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Following 6 months of maturation, also in stainless steel, the wine is finally bottled and left to rest for an additional 6 months before release.

Podere Ranieri Manzoni Bianco 'Incroci' possesses a straw yellow hue with greenish reflections. Fascinating descriptors of white peach, wild flowers and citrus zest emerge on the nose, meeting delicate mineral and herbal sensations. The taste is inviting thanks to its fullness and softness well balanced by the excellent fresh-salty backbone that provides tension. By virtue of these characteristics, Manzoni Bianco 'Incroci' can find exceptional pairings in dishes with a savory and fatty tendency, such as elaborate preparations of shellfish and crustaceans or medium-aged cheeses.
