The Pinot Grigio by Muzic is a fresh, rich yet delicate wine, aged on the fine lees for 8 months in steel. The Pinot Grigio from Muzic is a very versatile Friulian white wine that deserves a place in the cellar of every enthusiast. It is indeed a label where balance reigns in tasting, both on the palate and on the nose, with precise aromas and flavors, never too invasive or dominant. The terroir of Collio emerges in all its beauty, also thanks to the winery's approach, always attentive to respecting the environment and the surrounding nature, using integrated pest management principles in the vineyard and banning any chemical weeding. A philosophy that leads to straightforward and honest wines, just like this one.
The Pinot Grigio comes to life from the grapes of the same name, cultivated by the Muzic winery within hilly lands located near San Floriano del Collio, an area where the subsoil is mainly marl. The grapes, after harvesting, are destemmed and crushed, followed by a soft pressing and static decantation of the must. Subsequently, alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel containers, for a variable period, ranging from 8 to 10 days. The maturation it is always in steel, on the fine lees, for 8 months, at the end of which the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed.
The Pinot Grigio Muzic reveals itself to the eye with a yellow color, reminiscent of straw tones, crossed by flashes that tend more towards gold. The nose is dominated by mainly floral and fruity notes, which create an olfactory profile made of nuances and scents that are very well assorted among themselves. On the palate, it is light-bodied, characterized by a pleasantly fresh and mineral sip; it ends with a finish where a flavor reminiscent of aromatic herbs can be found. An excellent bottle branded Muzic, ideal for accompanying tasty appetizers or dinners where the sea is the absolute protagonist of the dishes.
