The Vermentino Bolgheri 'Le Pinete' by Dario di Vaira is an elegant pure Vermentino that well expresses the freshness of the Tuscan Coast. A brief maceration precedes fermentation, in neutral containers to enhance the varietal character. After 4 months sur lies with regular batonnages, this white expresses itself with intense fragrance and good structure. On the nose, it offers intense hints of sweet and crunchy white-fleshed fruit, with delicate iodized notes on the finish. The sip is of intense and persistent savoriness, ideal for seafood pairings.
